J. Beaux McCormick, D.M.D.

A native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Dr. J. Beaux McCormick graduated from Long Beach High School. He attended Millsaps College, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, and graduated Cum Laude. Dr. McCormick then attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors in May 2000. He has been providing his patients with exceptional comprehensive general and cosmetic dental care ever since.

Prior to going into private practice,  Dr. McCormick worked for the University of Mississippi Medical Center and the Armed Forces Retirement Home, Gulfport.   In 2006, Dr. McCormick opened his own private dental practice.

Dr. McCormick feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry. Thus, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and Mississippi Dental Association.  Dr. McCormick stresses the importance of maintaining the highest quality of care for his patients with up to date information, techniques,  and materials.  He truly believes that Dentistry is a profession that requires a thirst for lifelong education and self  improvement.  Therefore, in just the last few years he has attended advanced continuing education sessions in places like San Francisco, Washington DC, San Antonio, Denver,  and Las Vegas.   Of course,  he also attends numerous local sessions in Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. 

Dr. McCormick is also very involved with his local community. He is affiliated with the Gulfport Yacht Club and attends the First United Methodist Church of Gulfport. Dr. McCormick also volunteers his time and talents to the following charities: Smile Campaign, March of Dimes and Junior Auxiliary.

In his personal life, Dr. McCormick is married to his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth “Sugar” Speaker, of Long Beach. They have a set of twins, Kate and Johnathon. In his spare time, Dr. McCormick enjoys spending time with his family, boating, fishing and running.
